Ok, Ok, Ok, we are slackers

Yeah, I used to make fun at my friends who stopped blogging after they had a baby.  I totally understand why now.  Anyways, we know you all have been waiting for months for more pictures, so here you go.  If you are on Facebook and fortunate enough to be friends with Robert, you can see [...]

Beach Trip

Just home from a week at Carolina Beach with the Hay Family (Janny, Big, and Uncle Kevin).  Photos chronicling the week are on Snapfish (http://makinghay.snapfish.com/) and on Facebook (same photos in both places).  Highlights from the week include Stockton eating sand, Kevin losing every game of Bocce, Stockton being dunked in the water to learn [...]

For the last few weeks we have been able to consistently get Stockton to smile at us.  It is so rewarding:
We think he is starting to figure out that he has hands.  Watch out Davis, he might figure it out before you do…

From Ashes to Easter

Being the good little preacher’s kid that he is, Stockton has officially made it through his first liturgical season.
Stockton went to church for the first time on Ash Wednesday.  It was a beautiful service, albeit, a little surreal.  Walking forward with your newborn in your arms to receive ashes, reminds you just how fragile life [...]

Home by another way

So, we went to the Wolverine wedding via Western Kentucky but on the way home we went through Eastern Kentucky so we could spend some time with Morgan’s other side of the family (her Dad’s side).  Stockton got to meet Morgan’s cousin Emily, Uncle John Paul and Aunt Patty, Uncle Rick and Aunt Liz, Uncle [...]
